Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books I Really Want To Read But Haven't (Yet)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish .

This week's Top Ten topic is actually, "Ten Books I Really Want To Read But Don't Own Yet", but I'll be honest... I own everything. I really do. My house is made of books. I sleep on books, with books, covered in books. Either I bought them or received the ARCs. They all just pile up and multiply like bunny rabbits. So I will just list ten books I bought that I REALLY want to read, but sadly, haven't gotten to yet. YET...because I REALLY, REALLY do want to read them. As a matter of fact, I feel quite guilty that I have neglected these precious baby books for so long. Shame on me. Poor, sad, lonely books. Don't fret, I still love you, books. Oh, and please don't hate me because I haven't read these yet. I feel bad enough already...

I know...I know... I'm hanging my head in shame...

I'll list alphabetically...

Across the Universe by Beth Revis- This is the book that other sci-fi books are compared to. Notice that I own the original hardcover. I absolutely need to read this and the rest in the series.

Black City by Elizabeth Richards- I've wanted to read this since before it came out. I have no idea why I haven't yet. I actually own all three in the series. I've heard SO many good things about this post-apocalyptic love story.

Blood Red Road (Dust Lands) by Moira Young- This post-apocalyptic, dystopian book/series has been in my tbr pile for way too long. The cover and name of the book have changed and all three books in the series have released.

Breathe by Sarah Crossan- This is another dystopian book/series that I have neglected. It sits in my room and taunts me every day. "Read me! Read me!" It says.

Chantress by Amy Butler Greenfield- A historical fantasy about women who can sing magic into the world...I should have read this long ago. Here's a fact about me you may not know: I'm a trained opera singer. This book was made for me. Go read it, ME...just go!

Cinder by Marissa Meyer- I have no excuse for why I haven't read this yet. No excuse!

Die For Me by Amy Plum- A paranormal romance involving the undead, set in Paris. I should be reading this right now!

Legend by Marie Lu- Yeah, yeah...I know. How can I not have read this dystopian series yet? I have no answer for you. But I need to fix this.

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater- I just haven't gotten to this yet. Again, no excuse. Just a lot of stuff in my tbr pile.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin- This one, I really want to make a priority. I want to read it so bad, I just keep picking up other things instead. I want to get this and the next book in the series read by the time the final book is released in November. At least I'll try...

What books have been in your tbr pile for a while? Are there any books you want to read but don't own?Have you read any of these? Which ones are MUST reads?
